<p>June 5th is <strong><strong>World Environment Day</strong></strong> and we'd love to spend it with you!</p><p>In a time of increasing environmental challenges, many of us are feeling overwhelmed, anxious, and unsure of how to respond. But what if the path to empowerment begins with something as simple and ancient as connecting with nature?</p><p>In this one-hour interactive session, we will explore how deepening our connection with the natural world can help us process climate anxiety in healthy, meaningful ways. Together, we will give space for our emotional responses to environmental issues and explore how nature can inspire real-world<strong><strong> </strong></strong>action and advocacy.</p><p>World Environment Day is a time to celebrate, protect, and work towards restoring the planet. This session will be your invitation to engage not just with the Earth but also with your own power to contribute to change. Whether you’re a concerned citizen, student, educator, or simply curious, this session is designed to leave you feeling grounded, supported, and motivated to be part of positive change.</p><p><br></p><h3>What will we cover?</h3><p>In this session, we will dive into fundamental link between our empowerment, emotions and nature to help you turn your feelings into positive action. We will explore and practise:</p><ul><li>What climate anxiety is and why it’s a natural response</li><li>The link between nature connection and emotional wellbeing</li><li>How reconnection with nature can inspire hope and motivation</li><li>Practical actions you can take to support change in your community</li></ul><p>This will be an interactive session so please do be prepared to have your camera an microphone on. The session will be held on Zoom.</p><p><br></p><h3>Who should attend?</h3><p>This workshop is suitable for any interested individual from all sectors and backgrounds, no prior experience needed.</p><p><br></p><h3>Who are Change Agents UK?</h3><p>Change Agents UK create positive social and environmental change by providing sustainability education to people all ages, and we connect talented individuals with purposeful careers in sustainability through our sustainability recruitment services.
