Managing Fire Safety
- Although the system outlines this is a free event, there is a cost to attend this course and you will be billed as normal

At the end of the Managing Fire Safety course attendants will:
- understand the dangers of fire
- understand current fire safety legislation
- understand fire hazards in buildings
- be able to carry out a Fire Safety risk assessment
Content covered:
- management responsibility for fire prevention
- regulatory Reform Order (Fire Safety) 2005
- fire safety training for employees
- fire safety risk assessment (please bring along your current professional fire risk assessment)
- formulating fire policies
- damage control planning
Suitable for – this course is a requirement for Headteachers, Managers or Health and Safety Co-ordinators who are either the ‘Responsible Person’ under fire legislation or have been given the responsibility for fire safety for their premises.
Refresher training required - yes, every three years
