Working at Height
  • Although the system outlines this is a free event, there is a cost to attend this course and you will be billed as normal
  • You will be charged in full if you cancel with less than 14 days notice or do not arrive to the training on the day.
  • Once you have booked, an email will be sent ; this confirms your booking and no further action is required by you.

Working at Height Training

Each and every year the HSE statistics show that falls from height account for a high number of fatal accidents at work and thousands of major injuries.

Fatalities resulting from working at height remain the single biggest cause of workplace deaths.

This training is carried out by a certified CITB (construction, industry and training board) practitioner. It will provide you with sufficient information and knowledge to competently:

•complete working at height risk assessments

•identify hazards

•understand the risk assessment process

•apply the principles of prevention

There will also be a practical element to this course with the demonstration of equipment. Safety shoes and clothing appropriate for the weather conditions on the day of the course is recommended.

Suitable for - all staff who undertake any tasks or maintenance work , which involves using a leaning ladder or tall stepladders.

Refresher training required? - yes, every three years
