This workshop is designed to teach you how to gently release tension and stress held in the body.During this workshop you will learn a series of carefully designed Bioenergetic Alchemy™ exercises and postures (similar to Yoga or Tai Chi) where we will release fear and tension from our body to re-experience our natural state, what the Kalahari Bushmen call, “The Big Love”.“My classes follow a format of checking in with the body, warm-ups, grounding and building the body’s energy, then discharging the energy through movement and expression. This is followed by relaxation. The immediate result is a felt sense of security, vibrancy and exhilaration.” – Seth NewmanVarious spiritual teachings, such as A Course in Miracles, say that there are only two fundamental emotions: love and fear. If we can begin to safely &amp; gently release tension, shock &amp; fear from the body, we then open to an experience of the body in its natural state, deeply relaxed, at ease, and with a sense of peace and wellbeing. The Kalahari Bushmen call this natural state, the BIG LOVE. (Please bring a yoga mat &amp; blanket)◈ break 60 min (selection of teas/coffee will be available in the hallway)◈ 3:30-5:45pm Breath of Love Bioenergetic Breathwork Session - an Introduction to Conscious Connected BreathworkOur Bioenergetic Breathwork sessions are a wonderful way to deeply relax and rejuvenate your body, your mind, and your entire nervous system. It is also a safe and healthy way to reach creative states of consciousness, allowing a participant to access their deeper/higher consciousness. Resulting in improved physical, mental, emotional and spiritual well-being.Through the use of grounding exercises, tapping and conscious, connected diaphragmatic breathing, each individual is the leader of their own journey.Our facilitation includes space-holding, affirmations, aromatherapy and Reiki to assist in this personal process. At the very least, the breathwork will be relaxing and detoxifying… and at most, a Big Love experience! <h3>WHAT YOU WILL NEED:</h3>1. Please come already dressed in comfortable clothing suitable for movement/fitness and dress in layers. Bring a set of dry clothes/small towel as you will probably get sweaty during the dance session. Toilets are available at the venue but there are no separate changing rooms.2. The main workshop space is a shoe free zone, you can wear soft indoor shoes or grip socks.3. a Reusable water bottle. Tap water refill available at the venue, outside the Roof Studio.4. Yoga mat and blanket (essential for the Bioenergetics and Breathwork!)5. Packed Food/ Snacks to have during the breaks, complimentary tea/coffee will be available. It is conscious, so you are very aware of the fact you are breathing2. It is connected; so that the natural pause between the inhale and exhale is merged, creating a continuous loop of breath.3. It is relaxed, meaning the exhale is relaxed, and there is an emphasis on the inhale.4. It is open, meaning it is performed with a wide open mouth.5. It is deep, meaning you are breathing fully into the lower belly, and all the way up into the chest.What a typical session looks like:After some initial warm-up movements, stretches, and grounding exercises. You will be invited to lie on a yoga mat and breathe for about an 3/4 of an hour, and in this time we will offer positive affirmations, as well as support for deeper breathing. We may also use hands-on bodywork to enhance a deeper &amp; fuller breath. We will end the session with a final relaxation, with further guidance and meditation.Walking away with a feeling of lightness, vitality, and love…
