What do I need to attend the session?

Accepted Answer

You’ll need a computer or laptop with Microsoft Excel (2016 or later, or Microsoft 365) installed, Power Query isn’t fully supported in browser versions.  You’ll also need Microsoft Teams to join the session and a stable internet connection.

Is there anything that will improve my experience?

Accepted Answer

Yes!  Having dual monitors can make it easier to follow along—one screen for the training and one for Excel. This is optional but highly recommended.

Question 3

Do I need any prior knowledge or experience?

Accepted Answer

No Power Query experience is needed. However, you should be comfortable with intermediate Excel skills like sorting/filtering, using formulas (e.g., IF, VLOOKUP, XLOOKUP), and working with multiple worksheets.

Will I receive any materials or support?

Accepted Answer

Absolutely. You’ll get a copy of the course outline, relevant practice files, and a 2-page quick-reference guide. The session is interactive, so feel free to ask questions throughout. A certificate of attendance cn also be sent after the completion of the training.

Question 5

What if I can’t attend the full session or want a recording?

Accepted Answer

The session will not be recorded, so we encourage you to attend live. If you can’t stay for the full 2 hours, you’ll still receive all shared materials and resources.
