There are only 12 tickets available due to venue restrictions in Covid-19 times.ABOUT ANNE O NOMISAnne O Nomis is an archaeologist, art historian, BDSM sexuality educator and salonnière. Her name - Anne O Nomis - is a word-play on &#x27;anonymous&#x27;.Anne is the author of the world-renowned book &#x27;The History &amp; Arts of the Dominatrix&#x27;. Her book has been positively reviewed by DDI Magazine, Massad Magazine, Leatherati, Slutist, Library Journal Review, and Dominatrices themselves. It is used as the training curriculum at many dungeons and Mistress training courses worldwide.She holds a Masters degree in Comparative Art and Archaeology from UCL (University College London) which is rated in the top 10 universities Internationally. Her undergraduate Bachelors degree is in Art History and Theory.She teaches the annual Villa Domme event in Europe (www.villadomme.com), as well as online and in-person Dominatrix Seven Realm Arts™ certificate, has taught Oz Kink Fest for two years running in 2017 and 2018, and DomCon NOLA in 2020. IN THIS TALK ON THE DOMINATRIX THROUGH HISTORYAnne O Nomis gives a Powerpoint talk discusses how she came to research and write the major book in the world on the subject of the Dominatrix. Undertaking a one year dungeon internship in Melbourne, travelling to London to research the topic in libraries in &quot;forbidden books&quot;, in museum storage collections of archaeology artifacts of a Dominatrix Goddess, and erotic female flagellation prints of the 16th - 19th Centuries, and through to the 20th Century &quot;bizarre underground&quot; and first fetish fashion as we know it. She will also created the &#x27;Seven Realm Arts&#x27; framework of what Dominatrices do in their dungeons, which is used to train Mistresses around the world, and she will be discussing her new BDSM bottoms research on differences in psychologies of subs/slaves and masochists.SPECIAL ADDITIONAL TALK: ANCIENT GODDESS SEX RITUALSAnne will be presenting on her new archaeology work of the last 8 years researching the ancient sex ritual practiced in Mesopotamia to honour the sex Goddess Inanna, and how she came to trace the movement of the cultural practice across cultures and accompanied by the lyre instrument which was used to play the &quot;sex songs&quot;.The ritual was known as the &quot;qursu&quot; (literally sex ritual) often misrepresented and sanitised in translation as a &quot;sacred marriage&quot;. Archaeological evidence shows the transportation and setting up of an ornate bed for the ritual within a perfumed chamber, bathing and beautification rituals using special ritual objects, annointing with sacred myrrh oil, dressing in special clothing and jewellery, followed by the arrival of the King God consort with gifts for the Goddess. There was singing of songs of desire back-and-forth known as &#x27;BAL-BAL-E&#x27; songs which Anne believes and has evidence to support being played by the lyre harp instrument. The woman sang of her sexual desire for the bed and was pleasured and uttered a blessing for the abundance of produce and new life and prosperity of the land, and the people joined in revelry of feasting and drinking.
