Join us in celebrating International Women's Day 2021 by listening to the voices of women with PCOS

<p>To mark International Women’s Day 2021, join the <a href="https://www.birmingham.ac.uk/research/metabolism-systems/index.aspx" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Institute of Metabolism &amp; Systems Research (IMSR)</a> in collaboration with <strong>University of Birmingham&#x27;s Women&#x27;s Network</strong> for a community-led panel discussion focused on inequity in women’s healthcare. We will explore what lived experience advocates are doing to raise awareness of the barriers and stigmas that impact on women’s health and wellbeing. You can play your part too, by getting involved in the discussion and contributing your own ideas and questions to this online webinar event.</p><h3>Using Polycystic Ovary Syndrome (PCOS) as a case study on which to frame this broader discussion, diverse women involved in the <a href="https://daisypcos.com/" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer"><strong>DAISy-PCOS</strong></a><strong> Leadership Programme </strong>will lead the event and share their personal experiences to highlight how gender and cultural factors influence healthcare access &amp; management and even the progress of healthcare research itself. </h3><p>This is an inclusive event, all genders and backgrounds are welcome.
