Join us at 18.25 for the Branch AGM where we will review the achievements over the last 12-months, share the 2021 schedule of events, develop additional Branch activities for 2021 and elect new branch committee members.2. Join us at 18.55 for the main event with David E Hawkins, COO Institute for Collaborative Working We live in a fast-paced, constantly changing world where projects become even more complex and those involved in these projects equally contribute to a greater levels of complexity, however the recognition and management of inter-dependencies between partners is a major factor in successful realisation of the benefits. There are many factors that have a bearing on collaboration including team orientation, communications, sharing, creativity and leadership, yet working collaboratively often means lots of different things to different people.The Chartered Quality Institute (CQI) Derby and Nottingham Branch invites you to attend their Collaborative Working seminar where David Hawkins will explain the fundamentals of effective collaboration and the journey to ISO 44001, which provides a foundation for a systemic approach to building robust and sustainable collaboration.About the speaker:David Hawkins:David Hawkins extensive career in projects and procurement within the construction industry spans over 40 years where he has been associated with the development and implementation of major projects in many parts of the world, throughout he has deployed collaborative business models to support service delivery, manufacturing, outsourcing and wide variety collaborative programmes.However, David has much more acclaim as the author of the CRAFT collaborative methodology and the knowledge architect behind the development of the world’s first Collaborative business relationship standard, the PAS 11000 framework. As a result, he was appointed chairman of the British standards Institution (BSI) committee that developed the BS 11000 standard and later the International Standard (ISO 44001).The Institute for Collaborative Working (ICW) , previously PSL was formed in 1990 to assist organisations in the development of collaborative relationships stating that collaboration is fundamentally about ensuring business relationships maximise performance, achieve mutual objectives and create additional value for all parties involved. David has been associated with this organisation since 1995 and introduced the CRAFT methodology, which forms the core of the International standard.Location:Event log-in details will be emailed to all persons with a booked ticket prior to the event.CPD Certificates will be issued to attendees who request one following the event.Please Note the Following: As there are a limited number of tickets available for this event can we ask that you cancel your ticket if you are no longer able to attend. After the event we will send a request for feedback to the email address used to register for a ticket for this event. We will use this anonymous feedback to improve our events. A follow up email may be sent one week after the event. Eventbrite will hold your personal data that you use to register for an event. The CQI will process your data up to one month after the event for the purposes of event administration. If you would like to delete your data from Eventbrite after this time you can do so by contacting Eventbrite directly.When you attend a GoToMeeting your name will appear on the participant list during the event.
