Is the festival totally free?

Accepted Answer

Yes! Birmingham Settlement recognise that not everyone can afford to attend festivals, and we want to make sure we don't exclude anyone from attending. However, if you can afford to donate to help support our work and cover costs, donations can be made on the door or via Eventbrite.

Can I park at the festival?

Accepted Answer

We are a green festival so please consider walking, cycling, or using public transport. Our onsite carpark is reserved for disabled parking and festival staff drop-off only, you will need to find street parking if driving.  Busses run on Hagley Road, the 11 & 80 stop is on City Road (8 min walk).

Is the event family-friendly?

Yes! While the festival is family-friendly, most the family and child-focused activities take place on the Friday, Saturday and Sunday with arts and crafts, Forest School, family-friendly performance, music, and play.

Question 4

Will there be food and drinks available?

Accepted Answer

Yes! You will be able to buy sandwiches, salads, kids lunch boxes, light bites, snacks and hot and cold drinks (no alcohol is to be consumed on site) from our community Cafe 'the Red Shed'.

Can I bring my dog on site?

Yes, dogs on leads are able to join in the fun too!

Do you have toilets and baby changing facilities?

Accepted Answer

Yes we do. We have toilets on the festival site as well as accessible toilets and baby changing inside the Red Shed.

Question 7

What if it rains?

Accepted Answer

We'll still go ahead! Unless there are high winds and torrential rain the festival will still happen, albeit with some flexibility around performance times and movement of the schedule where needed. We have some covered spaces and tents. Please dress for the weather and come out to support us!
