A reflective gathering for those who may not be able to join us on the beach, but still wish to connect with Keening – Song of the Stranding. Taking place in North Tolsta Community Hall, this event features a live performance of the original music composed for the project and performed by Alex South, Katherine Wren and Nerea Bello —music that was shaped by the sounds of lamentation, memory, and the voices of whales. Alongside this, we will listen to audio testimonies from those who witnessed the 2023 stranding and hear reflections from the artists involved in the project. The event will conclude with an open Q&A, offering space for shared conversation and response.All welcome
