Sappho Events produces events for LGBTQ women and non-binary people in the UK. Our events revolve around common interest activities with a coffee and chat vibe. Our social events encourage making new friends and forming connections with other queer people. We also run dating events for queer women and non-binary people, which will be clearly marked.

Learn the basics of British Sign Language (BSL) with BSL level 2 qualified Ana Ndekwe. 

Learn the basics of British Sign Language (BSL) with BSL level 2 qualified Ana Ndekwe. She’ll teach you the Alphabet, how to introduce ourselves, and how to finger spell your name, along with other friendly ways to communicate with the Deaf community and those who have hearing impediments. Learn something new and make queer friends in the process! Ana, your teacher, has years of experience working with the Deaf community and Deaf charities. Note: This event is open to LGBTQ women and non-binary people.
