Welcome to the Honour based Abuse eventJoin us for an informative and empowering gathering where we will discuss the important topic of honour-based abuse. Honour-based abuse (HBA) is an incident or crime involving violence, threats, intimidation, coercion, or abuse. It is perpetrated by individuals who claim to be upholding the so-called honour of a family or community. Examples of HBA include forced marriage, coercive control, and even murder.This in-person event will feature speakers, panels, and open discussions to raise awareness and support those affected by this issue.Come together with like-minded individuals to learn, share experiences, and reaffirm our commitment to ending honour-based abuse. Let's stand united against this harmful practice.
