Norfolk Record Office (NRO) collects and preserves unique archives relating to the history of Norfolk and makes them accessible to people all over the world.The events listed here are run from our base at The Archive Centre, Martineau Lane, Norwich.   Free parking is available at County Hall for Archive Centre users. a series of 3 workshops on crime and punishment in Norfolk

A series of 3 workshops Thursday 2, 9 and 16 October.This course looks at the history of crime, looking at types of crime, which courts they would be tried in and punishments for those found guilty, from prison to hanging.Each session will include an introduction to the topic, a practical exercise and a chance to look at a range of related original documents.
