<h3>Hit the slopes with Disability Snowsports UK at Chill Factore, Manchester!</h3>Chill Factore and Disablity Snowsports UK have provided an exciting opportunity to experiance accessible indoor skiing!Skiing - Once you have booked we will send you a form where you can explain any previous skiing experience the wish child has. This will determine what group they will be in on the day and how much support they receive.Catering - A dinner of pizza will be provided to families on the day, including a vegetarian option, in a private catering space. Please inform us prior to the event if you or a family member have any allergies.Equipment - All ski equipment will be provided. The venue will be cold, so wrap up warm. We will ensure you get saloupettes (waterproof trousers), ski boots and skis. Please come with a warm, waterproof coat and please bring along waterproof gloves as these are not provided.Getting there - The venue can be travelled to by car or public transport.Wheelchair users - There is the opportunity for wheelchair users to experience 'sit-skiing' we can accommodate a maximum of 4 wheelchair users at the event.*If a wheelchair space is not booked but one is used, we may have to put you onto the wait list until a wheelchair position becomes available.Ticket Allocation - this is a very popular event with limited availablility. To ensure fairness it will be initially open to those who have not attended previously. Those who have attended before are welcome to join the wait list.Timings - There will be two ski lessons taking place one after the other, therefore you will need to arrive at Chill Factore at different times. More specific timings will be provided once we have allocated your ski lesson times. Parents - please be aware that only under 18s will have the opportunity to ski. Parents are encouraged to watch from the side of the slope or the viewing gallery.Cystic Fibrosis - There will only be one attendee with Cystic Fibrosis at this event to reduce the chances of cross infection.Photos - A professional photographer will be taking videos/photographs during the event which will be used on our social media platforms and website. By attending this event, you are agreeing for Rays of Sunshine to use any photos taken during the day to help promote the charities work.Privacy - We respect your right of privacy and to have your data kept as secure as possible. We will never exchange your details or sell or rent your data to any other commercial or charitable organisation.
