The <a href="https://www.geraldmooregallery.org" title="https://www.geraldmooregallery.org" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Gerald Moore Gallery</a> is delighted to present <a href="https://geraldmooregallery.org/exhibitions/89-walls-and-floors-recent-work-by-students-on-the-city-lit/overview/" title="https://geraldmooregallery.org/exhibitions/89-walls-and-floors-recent-work-by-students-on-the-city-lit/overview/" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Walls and Floors</a>, the end of year exhibition by students on the City Lit Fine Art course, consisting of new works that combine drawing, painting, sculpture, installation, print and moving image from 19th to 26th July 2025 in the Ground Floor Gallery.The private view will be on Saturday 19th January from 1.30 to 3.30pm.Works by: Basma Alshather, Margarida Bailey, Verity Currie, Judith Fear, Michele Haniotis, Rita K, Su Lin, and Denisa Popa.The City Lit Fine Art course is a part-time programme based in the centre of London that supports the development of an independent artistic practice. It is written and taught by practicing artists as an alternative to HE study.The exhibition is open to the public on Saturday 26th July from 10am to 4pm and by appointment for other days.To make an appointment or if you have any queries, please email info@geraldmooregallery.org or call 02088570448.Please enter Eltham College via Grove Park Road and walk through a pedestrian gate next to the Chapel to get to the gallery (image below).---The Gerald Moore Gallery is a centre for modern and contemporary art with learning at its heart. Opened in April 2012, in Mottingham, the gallery is uniquely set within the grounds of Eltham College and is a valuable resource for the students and the local community. The gallery has gained momentum hosting some exciting exhibitions including works by Matisse, Louise Bourgeois, and Cornelia Parker, whilst supporting emerging local artists. In unison with the exhibitions, the gallery's outreach programme works with local community groups, teachers, and schools, creating lasting relationships with our locality. Gerald Moore Gallery was made possible with the foresight and generosity of Old Elthamian, Dr Gerald Moore, many of whose works are archived at the gallery and who has a permanent exhibition on display.
