Solstice CelebrationCome join us for a magical evening at Rising Tide Cafe as we celebrate the changing of the seasons! Our solstice celebration will be filled with summer wines, foraged foods, and good vibes. Bring your friends and family to enjoy exciting food, delicious drinks, and a cozy atmosphere. Rising Tide Cafe will introduce you to their new line of summer wines, and Judith Lamb of Edinburgh Forage and Eat will tell you all about the wild foods we can forage in midsummer in Edinburgh and the beaches, woods, and meadows around us. Taste elderflower and rose, burdock and sweet cicely, chicken of the woods and branched oysters, kelp and dulse, pineapple weed and dandelion and many more seasonal midsummer treats in an exciting and delicious selection of wild foods. You will be able to learn about where and how to forage seasonal plants and fungi and how to prepare them, ask questions, taste about 15 wild foods and have a look, feel, and smell of the forageables in their unprocessed state while being comfortably seated indoors and entertained by your host.
