When you submit your play to theatres or competitions, the first few pages are everything – the opening scene is your chance to show off your skills and ensure the reader wants to read more! In this 90 minute Zoom workshop with playwright and dramaturg, Kimberley Andrews, you will discover what makes opening scenes successful and by contrast, what might make the reader give up on the play.
