Starting Off was established in Northamptonshire in 1989 and we have grown significantly over the last 30-plus years and now work with companies across the UK.We are extremely passionate about learning and apprenticeships, as well as providing a fantastic service to our client's and learners. Our qualifications range from level 2 to level 5.Our core values are at the heart of what we do –Support, Honesty, Ambition, Passion, Excellence.We deliver apprenticeship and private training in office based disciplines. We have a training /exam centre in Northampton town centre that students can visit, however all training can be delivered remotely for companies across the UK. Training is delivered through a blend of remote live visits, workshops, online resources including a virtual learning environment and one to one sessions.

Starting Off are delighted to welcome you to a dynamic and celebratory day to showcase the benefits and successes of apprenticeships. The day will be a fun-filled mix of opportunities to network with local business’s, learn about the updates and changes in the apprenticeship sector, support a local charity for children with cancer and celebrate the achievements of the apprentices in your business with our annual awards ceremony. We would love for you to be involved and to invite any contacts and colleagues along that you feel may benefit from learning more about the apprenticeship journey. The day will run from 9.30am – 3.00pm with lunch included. Equally, if you employ apprentices and want to keep up to date with upcoming news – you will benefit from this. Our industry experts will cover recruitment, funding, the digital account set up, employer contributions, incentives, salaries, levy and anything else you want to know. Including an apprentice Q&amp;A session!(To attend - book a day ticket – times will be released closer to the day) Hero project sessionWe are delighted to be joined by the Bemorefab Children’s Cancer Charity who work in conjunction with the Anthony Nolan’s Hero Project - an initiative dedicated to educating and inspiring young people to become bone marrow donors, blood donors, and organ donors. We will hear the inspiring story of local family whose world was shattered when, on Friday 13th May 2022, their daughter, Florence, was diagnosed with leukaemia. Her prognosis was incredibly poor from the start, and it quickly became clear that chemotherapy wasn’t working. Against all odds, Florrie was able to receive a bone marrow transplant. The hero project session aims to demystify the donation process, tackle misconceptions, and empower students to save lives.(Book your day ticket to secure your slot – times will be confirmed) Apprentice of the Year award ceremonyTo finish our showcase event, we will hold our annual Starting Off apprentice of the year awards!
