Marine biologist and founder of Climate Pirates Dr Franziska Elmer, will be hosting a discussion on how we can move faster toward a net zero carbon world.<ul><li>Are we waiting for perfect solutions that may never arise?</li></ul><ul><li>What are the compromises and tough decisions we&#x27;ll need to make?</li></ul><ul><li>What solutions are already available?</li></ul>There&#x27;s no need for any expertise in environmental issues, just bring your imagination. Most of us have never thought about what our daily life will look like in a net zero emission world. Pirates, know that inaction is too often about belief, not ability.For us to reach the goal of net zero in time, we need a positive vision and goal to work towards, either a personal one or (even better) a collective one. Rather than waiting for someone to deliver that vision, let&#x27;s craft it ourselves.The event will be open for you to join from 19:15 and the event will start promptly at 19.30.
