Amser: 09.00 – 17.00
Mae'r cwrs Ymwybyddiaeth ac Atal Hunanladdiad wedi'i gynllunio i'ch galluogi i adnabod yr arwyddion bod rhywun yn meddwl am hunanladdiad, ac i roi'r hyder i chi i'w cefnogi.
Wedi'r sesiwn byddwch chi'n:

· adnabod y dangosyddion posibl a allai fod yn gysylltiedig â rhywun sy'n cael meddyliau am hunanladdiad
· gwybod sut i ymateb yn briodol i rywun sy'n cael meddyliau am hunanladdiad
· sylweddoli sut y gall eich agwedd effeithio ar eich ymateb i rywun sy'n cael meddyliau am hunanladdiad
D.S. Oherwydd y pynciau sensitif a drafodir yn yr hyfforddiant, argymhellir bod cyfranogwyr yn ystyried a ydynt yn teimlo yn ddigon llesol cyn archebu. Tra bod rhannu profiadau yn gallu bod o fudd, rhaid i gyfranogwyr fod yn ymwybodol bod y gweithdy wedi'i gynllunio i helpu cyfranogwyr i gefnogi eraill, ac nid yw'n cael ei fwriadu fel sesiwn therapi i'r cyfranogwr. Mae hyn ar gyfer lles yr holl gyfranogwyr.
Dim ond ar gyfer pobl sy'n byw neu a/neu sy'n gweithio yng Nghymru yw'r cwrs yma. Bydd angen i gyfranogwyr o wledydd eraill sy'n dymuno cael eu hyfforddi mewn Ymwybyddiaeth ac Atal Hunanladdiad gysylltu â'r darparwr MHFA cenedlaethol sydd wedi'i drwyddedu i gyflwyno yn eu gwlad.

Suicide Awareness and Prevention
Sadly many people in the creative industries live with poor mental health and the number of people considering taking their lives in the sector is much higher than the workforce in general.
This interactive workshop is aimed at those working in the creative industries in Wales especially if you’re in a supportive or supervisory/management role e.g. Wellbeing Facilitators, Mental Health First Aiders, Mentors, Union Representatives, Heads of Departments, Producers, Employers etc.
IntroductionThe Suicide Awareness and Prevention course has been designed to enable you to identify signs that someone is thinking of suicide, and to give you the confidence to help support them.
By the end the session participants should be able to:
- Understand the prevalence and the impact of suicide in the UK
- Identify the possible indicators that may be associated with someone who is having thoughts of suicide
- Recognise the risk factors associated with suicide
- Learn how to respond appropriately to someone who is having thoughts of suicide
- Realise how your attitude can impact your response to someone who is having thoughts of suicide
NB
Please note that due to the sensitive topics discussed within the training it is recommended that participants have an appropriate level of well-being before attending. Whist sharing experiences can benefit the training experience, participants must be aware that this workshop is designed to help participants support others and is not intended as a therapy session for the participant. This is for the comfort for all participants.
Our trainer is only licensed to provide this training course for those who live and/or work in Wales. Participants from other countries who wish to become trained in Suicide Awareness and Prevention will need to contact the national provider licensed to deliver in their country.
