Bold and BolSHE is a curated series of Q&amp;As and workshops with some of Wales&#x27; most influential artists.This series of workshop is open to all and free of charge. This event will be held on Zoom and last about an hour and a half.What to expect:A chance to speak to some of Wales&#x27; wonderful writers. Our panel has experience across theatre, film, TV and radio. Come along as a writer, director, producer, anything! Ask your burning questions and get to know some of the incredible writers we have in Wales.HANNA JARMAN Hanna Jarman is a writer/director and actor working across film, television and theatre. Hanna is a RWCMD graduate and was a recent participant on ‘Y Labordy’ directing scheme supported by Ffilm Cymru Wales, S4C, ArtsCouncilWales and BFI.NETwork. Hanna has created and co written Merched Parchus (Respectable Girls) with Mari Beard, a short form bilingual series about true crime obsessed Cardiff Millennial, Carys. It has been developed and produced by ie ie productions for S4C. Hanna and Mari also star in the series and were nominated for two Welsh BAFTA’s for the series. Merched Parchus has now been sold to &quot; European Netflix&quot;- Sooner.As well as developing other television projects for S4C and BBC, Hanna is working with theatre company Cwmni Pluen on co writing her first theatre show.DURRE SHAHWARDurre Shahwar is a writer, speaker, and PhD researcher whose work explores the themes of identity, class, queerness, gender, and mental health. The range varies from essays, short stories, monologues, theatre pieces and everything in between. She is the co-founder of ‘Where I’m Coming From’, a community open mic collective that features writers of colour. Her work has been published in various magazines and anthologies, notably: Just So You Know (as editor), Know Your Place: Essays on the Working Class (Dead Ink Books), We Shall Fight Until We Win (404 Ink), Homes For Heroes 100 (Festival of Ideas). Durre was the recipient of a Literature Wales’ Writers Bursary, part of Hay Festival Writers at Work, and part of BBC Writersroom Welsh Voices. Durre is currently doing her PhD in Creative Writing at Cardiff University and working towards her first narrative non-fiction book about South Asian identities in Wales. durreshahwar.com / @Durre_ShahwarMALI ANN REESTBCREBECCA JADE HAMMONDI am a Welsh writer, actress and Artistic Director of (4**** Guardian Reviewed) Company Chippy Lane Productions Ltd. I am a lecturer, Fellow of the Higher Educational Academy and Literary Reader for Hampstead Theatre. In Spring 2020 I won the Peggy Ramsay Foundation grant to develop my writing. My play CANTON was also long-listed for Theatre Uncut, Traverse Theatre and in the top 10% for the Verity Bargate Award. In autumn 2020 I became a recipient of Theatr Clwyd Micro Bursaries. I am published by Methuen Drama. My award-winning web Series MIDNIGHT MIRACLE is on Amazon prime. In the summer I will begin filming in bafta-nominated comedy The Tuckers for BBC One as a series regular. In 2019 I set up the WELSH FEMALE WRITERS GROUP to support and give a platform to female aspiring voices.
