About this event

    The Graduate Diploma Art & Design prepares you for Master’s study at the RCA. We focus on developing proficiency in the independent learning methods and practices of art and design, and on introducing you to the role and influence of art and design in the world today.

    This Open Day event focuses on students planning to join the programme for our May 2026 intake. You are still welcome to join if you are interested in later intakes too, but some of the presentation materials might focus on the May 2026 entry.

    Join us for this in-person event at our White City campus to see the Graduate Diploma spaces for yourself, meet our friendly team and get your questions answered.

    Please note: this Open Day event is only for our Graduate Diploma Art & Design (pre-masters). If you are interested in any of our MA, MFA, MDes, MArch, MRes, or MPhil/PhD programmes, please visit our Open Events page to find alternative events.

    What to expect

    • 15:30 Doors open, refreshments, meet the team and current students
    • 16:00 Welcome talk and Q&A
    • 17:00 Tours around the Graduate Diploma spaces
    • 18:00 End

    Please arrive on time for a full Open Day experience. Arriving after 17:00 might mean you won't you will only get a partial tour of the facilities.

    • Those currently applying to the Graduate Diploma
    • Friends and family are also welcome to join, though please ensure they have a ticket

    About the host

    Gary Clough, Head of Programme - Gary has over 25 years’ experience in the higher education sector, with a specialist focus in international and transnational education.

    Accessibility

    All of our buildings are wheelchair accessible and we welcome visitors with guide dogs. You are also welcome to arrive a bit earlier and sit in our reception areas ahead of the event starting.
