Join us for Polygon's (previously Matic) Workshop as part of the Encode Hack the System hackathon!

This workshop will be a technical deep-dive into Polygon, as part of the <a href="https://www.encode.club/hack-the-system" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Hack the System</a> hackathon.The workshop will include an introduction to Polygon, an introduction to their technolgoy and practical information on how to begin building with Polygon. The event will be hosted by Arjun Kalsy (VP of Growth) and Pranav Maheshwari (Solutions Lead).About PolygonPolygon (previously Matic Network) is a Layer-2 scaling solution built on top of Ethereum to solve for low throughput and high transaction costs. Its core technology is a production-ready Hybrid Plasma + POS sidechain which ensures that all assets are secured by Ethereum security and that the network is high performance and highly decentralized (85+ Validators). All the Dapps on Polygon are deployed on this chain.The Matic chain is 100% EVM compatible and scales beyond 7200 TPS with an Avg. Txn. cost of $0.00003. It uses the same ERC style assets (ERC20, ERC721, ERC1155) used by Ethereum.
