SAF'S SWAP SHOP TURNS 1! 🥳Join us in celebrating a whole year of clothes swap events with our 1st birthday bash!As well as our usual clothes-swapping shenanigans, expect party games, goodie bags and of course, no birthday party is complete without cake. Plus some extra special surprises! WHY SWAP CLOTHES?Got a wardrobe full of clothes and nothing to wear? We hear you.1 in 3 women feel their clothes are outdated after less than three wears. We think that’s a waste.Clothes swaps are the perfect chance to refresh your wardrobe at a fraction of the price while doing something good for the planet.Join us in making a difference by choosing to swap, not shop.(20% of ticket proceeds will be donated to the ECO Action Hub for hosting us!) HOW IT WORKSBring up to 10 items of clothing, accessories and shoes to swap. Everything must be freshly cleaned and in good condition.While we accept items in all shapes, styles and sizes, we don't accept kids’ clothes.We ask that clothes be dropped off in advance to keep things running smoothly on the day. Drop-off slots are listed below. 👇🏼We operate using a tiered token system: bronze, silver and gold. We categorise items based on the type, brand, RRP and condition. You will be given relevant tokens in return for your items when you drop them off, which you can use to exchange for items on the day. THE TOKEN SYSTEMBronze = everyday high street (under £50 RRP)Silver = premium high street (over £50 RRP)Gold = designer, rare vintage or one-off pieces (over £100 RRP) 1 Bronze Token = 1 Bronze Token1 Silver token = 2 Bronze Tokens1 Gold Token = 3 Bronze or 2 Silver Tokens Items will be clearly labelled, so double-check your tokens before heading to the checkout. DROP OFF DATES AND TIMESSunday 21st September between 12pm - 2pmSaturday 27th September between 11am -12pm (1 hour before the event) Once you’ve bought your ticket, pop into the Eco Action Hub at any of the above dates and times to drop off your items.Remember to bring up to 10 items only that are freshly washed and in good condition. We’ll categorise your items and exchange them for the relevant tokens. We also host events in our Meeting Space to give you more ideas and encouragement.Find the ECO Action Hub near the atrium in Maidenhead’s Nicholsons Shopping Centre, SL6 1LB. TERMS &amp; CONDITIONS<ul><li>Once items are categorised at drop-off, their category cannot be changed.</li><li>All clothing donations are final, so please be 100% sure you’re happy to see them go to a new home.</li><li>Only ticket holders and those who have brought items to exchange can take part in the swap.</li><li>Please be considerate of other swappers, do not hoard items and put them back on the rails if you no longer want them.</li><li>We reserve the right to refuse any items brought to the swap that don’t meet our criteria.</li><li>You may not find items of the same quality as the ones you bring.</li><li>Any garments remaining after the event will be kept in circulation as stock for future swap events or donated to charities.</li></ul>
