Quiet Day

Quiet Day

St Josephs Prayer CentreFormby, England
Saturday, Mar 28 from 10 am to 3 pm
Overview

An opportunity to pray and reflect, to study, to read, to get creative, to walk and to just be in God’s presence, with no interruptions.

Our quiet day is led by Bishop Ruth and will end with the Eucharist.

Tea, coffee and lunch will be provided.

The Prayer Centre is situated in beautiful grounds surrounded by the National Trust nature reserve, in Freshfield on Merseyside, which is also home to the nationally acclaimed red squirrel. Woodland and coastal walks can be taken directly from the centre. The award winning beach and Irish Sea are just 10 minutes’ walk away. On the northwest coast of England our sunsets are some of the most beautiful in the world.

Spacious well-kept grounds surround the centre; and ample parking is available. There is also a peaceful courtyard garden, for a time of quiet reflection.
