Make T-shirt yarn from the whole t-shirt! Perfect for saving old t-shirts from going to landfill.

In this workshop you will learn how to cut your t-shirt into a continuous yarn. This workshop is in collaboration with #clicknsew:&#x27;Click &#x27;n&#x27; Sew&#x27; is an online community where you can learn sustainable craft techniques from artists and designers, whilst meeting new friends and having a good old laugh!Each month Alice Burnhope, founder of &#x27;Click n Sew&#x27; runs an Instagram Live Q&amp;A session and workshop with an artist of the week. This week it&#x27;s Emma Constantine aka &#x27;Jup&#x27;. Emma from Jup, will be teaching us how to make yarn from old T-shirts. Jup runs further workshops to help you create zero-waste products with your T-shirt yarn such as baskets, necklaces and plant hangers. Here is what you&#x27;ll need for the workshops:1. One T-Shirt (preferably ironed beforehand)2. A good pair of scissorsRunning order for the Workshop:•Introduction (10 minutes) to #clicknsew, along with fun warm up exercises allowing everyone to get to know each-other and have a good old laugh!•Rest of the session will focus on learning a new skill and opening up the floor for conversations and lots of laughter.The workshop is free but there is an option of a small donation to help support the continued running of #clicknsew and for the artist&#x27;s time. Any donation would be greatly appreciated.
