Annual Gathering: Welcome session

The Health Anchors Learning Network (HALN) is a UK-wide network for people who are interested in, or responsible for, anchor approaches to share ideas, knowledge and skills. Through individual and collective learning, participants will become better equipped to implement anchor strategies in practice. This will help maximise the health and care system’s social, economic and environmental impact, improve the social determinants of health and help reduce inequalities. The network is delivered by Innovation Unit and supported by the Health Foundation and NHS England and NHS Improvement.

Kicking off the week with an overview of the learning network and an introduction to anchor organisations

Who is it for? Whether you are new to anchors or well established on your journey, come along to the welcome session to find out what the Health Anchors Learning Network is all about. The Health Anchors Learning Network welcomes everyone interested in, or responsible for, anchor approaches within their local contexts. Colleagues from health organisations, like trusts, hospitals and CCGs; integrated care systems; primary care networks, regional bodies; and partners, like local authorities or other public agencies, voluntary and community and social enterprise (VCSE) sector or educational or housing organisations are welcome to join.What should I expect? The network team will be speaking and presenting for the majority of the session. There will be occasions where you will be asked to contribute to the conversation by using the chat feature if you wish to do so. There will also be time for you to meet other network participants in groups of approximately three people. Joining the EventThis event will be held on Zoom. After registering you will receive an email containing a unique link for you to join the webinar. On the day itself you can either use the link in the email or go to the Online Event Page on Eventbrite to enter the webinar.AccessibilityIf there is anything that we can do to enable you to fully participate in the event please get in touch with us on hello@haln.org.uk .
