Autumn Woods

During our Autumn Foraging Walk at Almondell Country Park, we’ll harvest some of the beautiful wild fruits of autumn. We’ll walk through the mixed woodlands and along the river meadows, and discover which plants and mushrooms we can find. We’ll discuss identification features, responsible foraging practices, preparation suggestions, and, of course, similar looking toxic and inedible species. This foraging walk is suitable for all ages and skill levels and will include a picnic to sample food and beverages brimming with foraged flavours.
