Join us and Green Sefton as we focus on a hotspot for this invasive species - removing it and bagging for disposal.

Rimrose Valley Country Park

Help improve the natural habitat of Rimrose Valley and connect with people from the surrounding community by joining us and Green Sefton to remove the invasive species Himalayan balsam from a section of the park.Please note that we are meeting at the entrance off Brook Vale, next to Brooklands Avenue - not the St Mary's Road entrance.Please read the infirmation below to ensure you come prepared:<ul><li>Bring protective gloves</li><li>Ensure that you arrive on time for an 11am start</li><li>The event end time is approximate - we may finish sooner</li><li>Come suitably prepared for the weather on the day - you may need a drink, sunscreen... or waterproofs! We recommend sturdy footwear and long sleeves to protect your arms</li><li>We have limited the amount of places you can reserve to 2. Please only book the number of places you need and if you are unable to attend, please cancel your booking so your place can be allocated to someone else</li><li>If you are unable to register for this event, don't worry, there will be other opportunities in the future</li></ul>Thank you.
