Community Chef offers community food consultancy, cookery training, cookery classes, cookery workshops and cookery demonstrations in a variety of settings, working with schools, community groups, charities, health and government organizations as well as ethical businesses.We also provide delicious, healthy catering for corporate, private and community functions and have a state of the art smoothie bike which is available for workshops and public eventsCommunity Chef is a socially focused business which directly supports a sustainable food system by using and promoting local food, independent food producers and retailers, organic agriculture, community food co-operatives and self-sufficiency.

Community Chef - Good Food for All

Make a delicious all purpose pastry and learn essential pastry skills.

Join bakers Timothy Blair and Robin Van Creveld for an introductory pastry making workshop.We&#x27;ll teach you an all purpose, lower fat, pastry and demonstrate essential pastry making skills. We&#x27;ll use this pastry to make spring vegetable turnovers and custard tarts. This workshop is suitable for beginners and improvers. This workshop will use the online ZOOM platform and will be a combination of demonstration and bake along activities. Thanks to funding from Care for the Carers and ESCC we are able to offer subsidized places to unpaid carers based in East Sussex.
