Repair Cafe Wales - Free Repairs, Bike Servicing and Bike Security Marking

Free repairs for household items, electricals, free bike servicing & police security marking

Repair Cafés are pop-up events held on campus where students, staff, and members of the local community can bring in broken household items to be repaired for free by skilled volunteers. You’re welcome to watch and learn repair skills while your item is being fixed!

Repairs available depend on the volunteers attending, but we typically offer:

• Free bike servicing and security marking
• Electrical repairs
• Fixes for small household items

Booking isn’t required but is appreciated — it helps us estimate numbers, send you a reminder, and contact you in case of any last-minute changes or cancellations.

🚲 There are cycle hoops available, and we’re just a lovely walk through Bute Park from the city centre.
🚗 If you're driving, please email sustainability@cardiffmet.ac.uk to arrange parking in advance.
