*English follows Japanese.ドイツ児童文学賞受賞作品『ぼくはアフリカにすむキリンといいます』の著者である岩佐めぐみさんをお迎えして、日本語を学習している方向けに、同書の読み聞かせイベントを開催します。オンライン（Zoom）開催です。先着90名まで参加可能です。経験のある日本語教師がやさしい日本語で進行します。参加費は無料ですが、参加後に簡単なアンケートへの回答にご協力ください。We have invited Megumi Iwasa, author of &quot;Yours Sincerely, Giraffe&quot;, to host a free storytelling online (Zoom) event for Japanese language learners. We accept up to 90 people on a first-come, first-served basis. The event is organised and hosted by two experienced Japanese language instructors in simple Japanese. Feedback after the event is greatly appreciated.■　岩佐めぐみさん　プロフィール　About the author東京都生まれ。多摩美術大学グラフィックデザイン科卒業。2018年秋、『ぼくはアフリカにすむキリンといいます』が、日本の児童書で史上初、卓越した国際的な児童文学作品に授与されるドイツ児童文学賞を受賞。15ヶ国語に翻訳され、さまざまな国で読まれている。2001年全国学校図書館協議会・選定図書。2021年秋に9作目となる新作を出版予定。Megumi Iwasa was born in Tokyo. She studied Graphic Design at the Tama Art University, and continued working there until 1986. In 2018, her first book, &quot;Yours Sincerely, Giraffe&quot;, won the German Children&#x27;s Literature Award, which is awarded to writers of outstanding international children&#x27;s literature. Today, the book have been translated into 15 languages and are read in many countries. her latest book is coming out in autumn 2021.■　作品紹介　About the book「お話は、アフリカにすむたいくつなキリンが、まだ見ぬ友だちに出会うため「地平線のむこうでさいしょにあった動物にわたしてほしい」と郵便配達のペリカンに手紙を託すところから始まります。ペリカンは最初に出会ったアザラシの配達員に手紙を渡し、最終的にペンギンがその手紙を受け取ります」（https://www.kaiseisha.co.jp/news/24896）<a href="https://kaiseiweb.kaiseisha.co.jp/s/osusume/osm181105/" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">偕成社のウェブサイト</a>にも詳しく掲載されています。対象年齢…小学校中学年から。Giraffe is bored, as usual. He&#x27;d love a friend to share things with, so he writes a letter and sends it as far as possible across to the other side of the horizon. There he finds a penpal called Penguin. Giraffe knows nothing about penguins and his letters are full of questions: What does a penguin look like? Where is a penguin&#x27;s neck?... And so letters begin to fly from horizon to horizon.
