This in-person training session, led by sustainability specialists Bold Green Strategies, will provide straightforward advice, actionable strategies, and reliable resources to foster a vibrant culture of low-carbon travel within your workplace.The session will cut through common challenges, offering practical steps and real-world examples to show how simple and impactful promoting active travel, public transport, car-sharing, and developing smarter business travel policies can be, regardless of your business's size or current environmental knowledge.What You Will Learn:<ul><li>Understanding Your Travel Impact: Discover the environmental and business implications of employee commuting and business travel, and how they contribute to your Scope 3 emissions.</li><li>Strategies for Greener Commutes: Identify practical initiatives to promote active travel (walking, cycling), public transport use, car-sharing, and the adoption of electric vehicles among your employees.</li><li>Crafting Sustainable Business Travel Policies: Learn how to develop effective internal policies to reduce emissions and costs associated with business trips, prioritising lower-carbon alternatives.</li><li>Reliable Resources: Access a curated list of trusted online resources, tools, and local support to guide your business's sustainable travel journey.</li><li>Your Workplace Action Plan: Leave with a concrete, achievable plan of the immediate steps your business will take to encourage low-carbon travel and enhance its environmental credentials.</li></ul> How to RegisterOur training sessions are open to all Southwark-based SMEs with fewer than 250 employees. Up to three employees per business are invited to register for each session.
