I am Hannah Massarella, founder of Bird. I am a Certified Professional Co-Active Coach having trained with the Coaches Training Institute. The Bird Grief Circles are a space  to process any kind of grief in a safe and supported way.

A year into the Covid pandemic, we’re encountering grief and loss on a vast scale. But often, we don’t realise it’s grief that we are experiencing. Grief comes to us in many ways and for many reasons. We can grieve for the death of someone we cared for - a relative, friend, colleague, patient or client. We can grieve for changes at home - end of relationships, kids moving away, lack of connection with community and neighbours. We can grieve for things we’ve lost at work - face to face meetings, changing roles at work, moving teams or losing a job. We can grieve for our planet - for the loss of habitats and wildlife.Many cultures honour grief as an important part of life. In our culture, we tend to hurry it along or hide it away. But grief, when unexpressed and unprocessed can sit within us and negatively impact our wellbeing and ability to move forward. The Bird Grief Circles are a beautiful opportunity to share and process your grief, whatever form it takes. They are an opportunity to witness and be heard. The sessions are run by Zelah Senior CPCC who will hold a confidential, safe and powerful space for all who attend. Sessions will only run if we have 5 or more participants. There are two hours set aside, but depending on the size of the group the session may come to a natural end earlier.
