Are all tasting samples included in the ticket price?

Accepted Answer

Yes - once you arrive you may taste as many wines as you wish.  However, we urge all visitors to taste responsibly and use the spittoons provided.

How many tickets may I buy?

Accepted Answer

You are welcome to purchase as many tickets as you wish.

Question 3

Can I buy tickets for other people?

Accepted Answer

Yes - if you buy tickets for others then please forward a copy of the ticket via email.  We will also have the guest list on the event reception and can check people in by name.

Question 4

Can I get a refund on my ticket?

Accepted Answer

If you are no longer able to attend you are able to pass your ticket to a friend or colleague.  We offer refunds up to 30 days before the event and a £5 administration fee is taken for every ticket refunded.

Question 5

What is the accessibility at Conway Hall?

Accepted Answer

The Main Hall at Conway Hall where the tasting will take place is at street level with no steps.  There is also an accessible toilet at this level.

Question 6

How can I ensure I taste responsibly?

Accepted Answer

There will be spittoons prominently placed throughout the tasting room and we urge visitors to the tasting to use them.  Drinking water will be provided on all tables and we ask guests to stay hydrated.  We reserve the right to refuse alcohol to anyone we feel has over-imbibed.

Can I bring in under 18s, children in buggies and babes in arms?

Accepted Answer

Since there is alcohol being served we do not permit access to anyone under the age of 18.  This includes children in buggies and babes in arms.

Question 8

Can I purchase wines at this tasting?

Accepted Answer

Producers will only be offering wines to sample at this tasting.  However, full details of where wines with UK availability are stocked will be listed in the tasting book given to all attendees.  Therefore wines can be sourced to purchase after the tasting.
