This 2.5-hour exploratory workshop provides an accessible introduction to the psychology of leadership within challenging times.

Please note this session is for SCS Level Civil Servants only*This session provides an accessible introduction to the psychology of leadership within challenging times. We will explore how pressurised environments affect heuristics within decision making and our preferences for leadership personality types. We will spend the latter part of the session exploring how we can strengthen our cognitive leadership skills of: sense-making, self-awareness, perspective-shifting, opposable thinking, relational awareness (relationship building) and biases.The workshop will be delivered via Zoom, with joining instructions being sent two weeks before the eventThis is the first in the 3 - part Leading in Complexity series, (Groupthink (pt2) and Complexity and sensemaking (pt3)). We would recommend attending all sessions to build on the knowledge and skills gained. However, these can be attended as a standalone.
