Over the past 12 months, we have all gained a unique understanding of the power of parks and open spaces. Connecting to nature has never been more important.The Royal Parks have provided a caring space for all to explore, learn and exercise throughout the pandemic and as the city reopens, these historic and beautiful places remain key to the enjoyment of city life.Join Architype and The Royal Parks for a celebration of nature with a cyanotype printing session within the World Heritage Site, Greenwich Park. Harness the power of the sun to make prints that you can take away, using natural materials to create beautiful patterns and shapes.You will also be given the opportunity to learn more about Greenwich’s new learning centre, a low carbon and sustainably designed hub that will open up the park to allow greater learning experiences. UPDATE: Please note, that due to the recent extension of COVID-19 restrictions, access to tour the project site areas will unfortunately now not be possible, so the formal tours originally scheduled for 12pm and 2pm have had to be cancelled. As an alternative, project presentation boards will be on display and the architects available between 11am and 4pm to outline the vision for the project and answer any questions.
