The Drawing Circus Returns - Evening

At Draw we run affordable online and in-person drawing, painting and printmaking classes, open to everybody. We run online life classes and printmaking-from-home courses for our international drawing community, as well as our in-person programme at venues in Brighton & Hove.

The Drawing Circus is back! Come and draw costumed &amp; uncostumed models at our themed life drawing day at New England House, Brighton.

After a 5-year hiatus The Drawing Circus returns to New England House for a one-day spectacular, marking the end of 16 years in our beloved studio-block. Join us for a day of immersive figure drawing with tableaus of clothed and unclothed models &amp; musicians who will pose for your drawing delight. Our troupe of models will hold a wide variety of poses from 3 minutes to 45 minutes long, accompanied by both live and recorded music. We are running two sessions so you can book in for the afternoon session, book on the evening session or book on both to make a day of it! It will be a busy, untutored event where everybody attending will be drawing in close-quarters. As our models will be unclothed we recommend all attendees are 16+. What you need to bringPlease bring your own drawing materials, paper or sketchbook – some basic drawing materials will be available for free. Easels, chairs and drawing boards of different sizes will be provided on a first come-first served basis. Getting to the New England HouseApproach New England House from the New England Street side of the building and walk up to the locked blue double doors next to the sign for the ‘Building Manager’s Office’. Wait to be let in or call the number on the door for entry – you will be greeted at the door and guided to the studios. You can park at the London Road, Elder Place &amp; Trafalgar St car parks; Brighton station is a 5 minute walk from the studio. The building has a wheelchair ramp at the North side of the New England Street entrance and lifts up to level 5 with gender-neutral toilets &amp; accessible toilets on floors 4 &amp; 6 accessed by lift. If you have covid, flu or bad cold symptoms we ask you not to attend - you will receive a refund as well as our appreciation! CancellationsBookings are non-refundable.
