Classical Musicians Scotland - A Night at the Opera

Strathearn Music Society has been bringing the very best in live classical music to Crieff for 60 years. All our concerts take place in Crieff Parish Church, St Andrew’s Hall, 25 Strathearn Terrace, Crieff PH7 3BZ. This former church is an airy space with a beautiful acoustic which is enjoyed by performers and audiences alike.

2025 2026 Season of Chamber Music in Crieff

Strathearn Music Society promote six chamber music concerts every season with 2023 2024 promising to one of the best so far! Our events take place on Wednesday evenings in the town of Crieff in our acoustically wonderful venue, St. Andrew's Halls.

Emily Mitchell Soprano, Sarah Shorter Mezzo-soprano, Christian Schneeberger Tenor, Douglas Nairne Bass, Orchestra conducted by Derek ClarkRepertoire will include music by Donizetti, Handel and Mozart, along with Offenbach, Verdi, and Lehar. Each item is introduced with polish and panache, explaining which character is singing, how they are feeling and why, and what they are expressing in the music. A surprise or two may also be in store! This promises to be a thoroughly enjoyable evening’s entertainment, not to be missed!
