We offer a variety of events from guided tours, where you will learn about the fascinating history of the garden, to photography and art workshops, mindfulness and meditation sessions, nature walks and willow weaving.  We are constantly expanding our offering as a way to share this unique garden with the wider community. The Italian Garden

Come and have free rein in this unique and special garden with your camera. Vicki, who was a finalist in the International Garden Photographer of the Year competition earlier this year, will be on hand to answer questions, offer advice, give tips and tricks to improve your photography or to answer questions about the garden. Each workshop will start with a tour of the garden. The garden offers a chance to photograph unique architecture, plants and wildlife. Places are limited and booking is essential. You need to bring your own camera and dress appropriately for an outdoor venue. The garden is actively under restoration and very much a work-in-progress with uncleared areas, uneven paths and no facilities on site. You will need to wear good walking shoes or boots and a reasonable level of mobility is needed. If you wish to book all day, you will need to bring a packed lunch and be aware that there are currently no toilet facilities at the garden.There is limited parking at the garden so car sharing where possible is encouraged. Visits will be cancelled the day before if bad weather is forecast.We are pleased to offer subsidised pricing thanks to our National Lottery funding. If you would like to make an additional donation to our restoration project, any contribution towards our replanting fund would be very welcome!
