During Refugee Week (14-20 June), find out why more foster carers are needed for young refugees in the East Midlands and how you can help.

Could you provide warmth and support to a young person who needs you, and help them to feel safe and settle into a new life? We&#x27;re looking for foster carers across the East Midlands to support young refugees, who have arrived all alone, without family or a trusted adult for support. Why not join us at our information event during Refugee Week to find out more about the life changing difference you can make?You&#x27;ll have the opportunity to hear from carers already going through the application process, as well as our team about the young people who need fostering, the training and support you&#x27;ll receive and the and allowances to make sure you can afford to foster. Find out about becoming a foster carer for your local authority via our project and the difference you can make to a vulnerable young person&#x27;s life, as well as your own.
