Artificial intelligence is changing the way we work — from the jobs we do to the decisions that affect our livelihoods. But how does this look and feel in communities that are often left out of tech conversations?Join us for a friendly, café-style event where you can explore these questions in an inclusive, jargon-free space. You’ll hear from an AI ethics expert, try out everyday AI tools, share your own stories, and take part in small-group discussions that put your experiences at the heart of the conversation.We’ll explore:<ul><li>How AI is shaping job opportunities and decision-making in different sectors</li><li>What fairness and accountability mean in automated systems</li><li>How to build trust in technologies that impact our daily lives</li></ul>This isn’t a lecture — it’s a conversation. Whether you’re curious about AI, concerned about its impact on work, or just want to share your perspective, this is a place to connect, learn, and be heard. Community Story Wall – Part 1 

Huma is an award-winning AI research scientist gaining the ‘Best Innovative Privacy Project’ award, in the PICASSO awards (PICCASO Awards Alumnus Spotlight: Dr Huma Shah), for her EU funded AI Ethics CSI-COP project investigating GDPR compliance. She also  gained the ‘London 2012 Inspire Mark for Education’ for her Bletchley Park Turing test event. She recently organised the ‘Do you know your AI from your Generative AI?’ public event at Coventry University where she teaches AI and AI Ethics part-time.
