Starting your own business can be exciting, but it’s important to be fully aware of the processes and requirements of a business startup!

<h3>Level 2 - Creating a Business Start-up </h3>This course runs for 5 weeks with one, two hour online session each week, you will also need to dedicate between 2-3 hours of self study per week. About this course Over half a million businesses are started every year, however, 30% of these fail within the first two years. Having a better understanding of the initial processes and requirements of a business start-up can increase the chances of your business succeeding. If you’re looking to start your own business, or already have a business but want to develop and progress your business plan, this qualification will support you with the skills and knowledge you need.The course offers advice about starting a business including business planning, marketing strategy, how to gain customers, finance considerations, plus lots more Course Content<ul><li>The initial steps for a business start-up</li><li>Key marketing techniques for your business start-up</li><li>Legal and financial considerations when starting a business</li><li>Developing a business plan</li></ul>Course Fee and Eligibility The course is government funded and you will be required to meet the following criteria to qualify for funding,<ul><li>Be over 19 years of age</li><li>Have proof of residency in the UK for at least three years and live in the Greater London area. </li><li>Be unemployed or on a career break or</li><li>Be in receipt of a benefit such as Job Seekers Allowance or Universal Credit or</li><li>Be employed/self-employed or</li><li>On furlough or unemployed but NOT on any benefits</li></ul>You will also be asked to provide evidence of your highest qualification.
