Join us at Recovery College Collective (ReCoCo) for the Annual Joint Meeting of Healthwatch Gateshead and Healthwatch Newcastle.
Every local Healthwatch is the independent champion for people who use local health and social care services. This public meeting is a chance to hear about our activities, participate in committee elections and discuss the future of the public voice in Gateshead and Newcastle.
Online signup via Eventbrite is required, and will close on the 11th of September. Please use the registration form to tell us about any dietary or accessibility needs you require us to take into account.
The event is from 10am to 1pm on Tuesday the 16th of September, with networking from 9.30am. It will take place at Recovery College Collective (No 1 Carliol Square, Newcastle Upon Tyne, NE1 6UF).

- 10.50am - Annual General Meetings including election of committee members for Healthwatch Gateshead and Healthwatch Newcastle
- 11am - Comfort break with tea/coffee
- 11.10am - Future of local Healthwatch and 2026/27 emerging priorities
- 11.25am Table discussions on the topic of "What should an independent voice look like in the new model? And what needs to be retained/transferred over from the existing Healthwatch functions?"
