An opportunity to share your stories and learn from others. Top tips of walking and outdoor activities in your DEEP group

Quite a few DEEP groups are engaging in outdoor activities including walking groups and growing projects. Some of this may be down to the need to be creative in the times of COVID restrictions - but to get it right might feel like a minefield. Kath Pyke Project Coordinator from Dementia Adventure supports organisations to set up their own outdoors and nature programme by working closely with local community groups. She will be a co-facilitator on this session.The aim of the session: * to hear from everybody about your different outdoor activities.* share good practice * consider what things you need to think about and put in place to make the most of the experience.* think about some of the things maybe you haven&#x27;t thought about * Problems and possible solutions. We particularly welcome members of the DEEP network , but this event will also be open to anybody who might be interested in developing their understanding too.Please come prepared to share your experiences and take part in a discussion. Please note this session will be recorded.
