Belfast Exposed is Northern Ireland’s leading photography organisation. Our vision is to enrich people's lives through photography.Belfast Exposed is an independent, non-profit organisation and registered charity situated in the Cathedral Quarter, Belfast. We provide a range of services including four public galleries exhibiting work by internationally renowned and local photographers, images from our 'Archive', and our ‘Futures’ programme for emerging artists. We maintain an archive recording the political, cultural and social change in Northern Ireland; we deliver an extensive educational and socially engaged outreach programme; we provide specialised and bespoke training courses for the public; we offer accredited educational programmes for schools and community groups, we provide a range of corporate packages for businesses, and venue hire facilities suitable for meetings, presentations, product launches, networking events and bespoke corporate hospitality.

Belfast Exposed invites you to an online Artist Talk with 3 recently graduated artists from the MFA Photography at Ulster University whose work features in our exhibition &#x27;A Lightness of Touch&#x27;. The talk will be in conversation with Course Director, Ken Grant. The Artist Talks will take place in Belfast Exposed on Thursday 24th June, from 6:00pm.Niall RuddyGavin MartinRoula Patra&#x27;A Lightness of Touch&#x27; is on display in Gallery 2 &amp; Studio Gallery until Saturday 17th July.&quot;Supporting emerging talent is ever more important as we ease out of Lockdown and each and every of these MFA graduates demonstrates talent in their respective genres. Within the show, there is evidence of a very human approach that deals with topics that are considered challenging. The works are profound with a tenderness not often seen in group shows and the sensitivity embraces the audiences into new ways of seeing.&quot; - Deirdre Robb, Chief Executive, Belfast Exposed.The exhibition touches upon relationships with family, community, and environments. After a year of global protests, isolation and illness, the exhibition stands boldly in the face of abuse, conflict, separation and delves into masculinity, sexuality and interaction with the landscape. It is political, socially engaging, and expresses a longing for connection, each work in a unique and personal way; all underpinned by a careful and thoughtful gaze.
