Perfect for locals and visitors alike - find out about our Royal connections, the trades of the town, and the ordinary and extraordinary people who lived or worked there over the centuries.A short walking distance from the Linlithgow Canal and a stone throw from the Linlithgow Palace, Linlithgow Museum is centrally located in the heart of Linlithgow Town. Free admission, donations welcome.Linlithgow Museum is run by Linlithgow Heritage Trust (LHT), a volunteer-led charity.The museum is managed by a volunteer Board of Trustees. The Board is supported by a group of volunteers from the local community as well as project-focussed staff.

Join us at Linlithgow Museum for an afternoon of mythical legends and fantastical tales from the Winchburgh Storytellers.

Join Eleanor and Alison from the Winchburgh Storytellers as they bring myths and legends to life in magical storytelling sessions!To make sure everyone enjoys the experience, each session is limited to 20 spaces – but don’t worry, we’ve got plenty more events running throughout September and October.Children must be accompanied by an adult during the event.Please check in at the Museum Shop desk when you arrive.
