A whistle-stop tour of some of the wells re-discovered by our Lost Wells volunteers

In early 2021, our volunteer researchers found out amazing stories about some of the Lost Wells of Galloway. Join the CYDI archaeologists for a guided tour of four of them:<ul><li>Lochenbreck Well between Laurieston and Gatehouse</li><li>The Rumbling Well near Dalbeattie</li><li>St Ninian&#x27;s Well in Parton (pictured)</li><li>The Green Well of Carsphairn.</li></ul>This will be a bus tour but off-road walking will be required to get to the well sites. Full information will be given after successful booking.
