Our Outdoor First Aid Course in Devon is a very popular first aid training course delivered from our training centre on Dartmoor.

A two-day course (16 hours). The outdoor first aid course is designed to introduce a way of first aid for managing casualties in many outdoor or remote environments. This outdoor first aid training course meets the requirements of the MLTUK, BCU, RYA and other outdoor governing bodies.

Please note that Dartmoor National Park now has parking charges for its car parks. The Ringo app is used but it’s advised to bring payment card rather than use the app due to poor signal.

Assessments:

Learners must be able to complete 2 minutes of CPR at floor level to pass the assessment. Learners will also be assessed on practical scenarios with a live casualty. There is no requirement for the learners to play casualty on this course.

At the end of day 2 there is a multiple-choice question paper to complete and pass to gain the Outdoor First Aid qualification.


Certificates:

Successful completion of the course learners will receive an 16 hour Outdoor First Aid certificate that is valid for 3 years. You can revalidate this qualification by repeating the course.


Add The Emergency First Aid at Work qualification (EFAW). Our Outdoor first aid training course also covers the Emergency First Aid at Work syllabus on day one. We can offer the regulated EFAW certificate for an additional £30 per person, you can add dual certification and you will receive a recognised first aid qualification for your workplace.
