Make a Film in a Weekend', AKA  mafia_weekend, is back and better than ever!

Get involved to write, light, act and direct a film in a weekend with professional filmmakers.Join this action-packed two-day course for the opportunity to try out all the crucial roles of a film set and learn the essential skills to go out and create your own cinematic stories. Two weeks later, a separate online evening workshop introducing the principles of editing will be held.On completion we’ll come together and celebrate with a screening with friends &amp; family 🎉Meet the team: 👋Keziah Joseph 🙋🏽‍♀️Keziah or Kez is an award-winning actor who has worked in film, theatre, radio and animation. Kez has also been involved with a number of prestigious theatre companies, including Improbable and Complicité.James BroadleyAfter training at the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama, James has performed on stage and in numerous short films. He is the co-founder of &#x27;Make a Film in a Weekend&#x27; and is currently studying for a post-graduate degree in Social Innovation.Dan Robb Dan has been involved in the theatre and film business for over 20 years. He co-founded Badac Theatre Company as well as &#x27;Make a Film in a Weekend&#x27;. He currently runs his own film production company, Perspective Films.About the event: 📆Times: 10 am to 6 pm (Sunday finishes at 6.30pm) The course is held at Bell House, near Brixton. It is open to everyone and anyone, aged from 16 to 99+. Absolutely no film &amp; creative experience necessary! The course is compliant with Covid Regulations.
